A chance encounter at a Korean taqueria, brings us to meet HongSam, who tells us the story of ‘Street Boy’, a Korean graffiti icon.
We requested a piece of artwork within seconds of meeting him. After some initial hesitation, he eventually agreed to provide us with an ‘old school’ piece inspired by the work of the late NYC graffiti legend, DONDI. We met up the next morning to buy paints, and a day later, we filmed him painting a mural in our office before he flew back to Seoul. A few weeks later, we also conducted a short interview in Brooklyn, NYC.
